FAQs
What does a home inspection include?
Our inspection services covers the visible and accessible components of your home’s structure, roofing, exterior, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, interior spaces and built-in appliances. We do not move large personal items or dismantle system. We do perform a thorough visual inspection in line with the Texas standards. After the inspection is completed, you will receive a clear report and video summary so you understand everything we found.
How long does a home inspection take?
Most inspections take 2 to 3 hours, depending on the home’s size, age, and condition. Larger or older homes may take a little longer to inspect thoroughly.
Can I attend the inspection?
Absolutely. In fact, we encourage it. Attending the inspection lets you ask questions, see any issues firsthand, and better understand your report.
Do you inspect new construction homes?
Yes. We offer New Construction Inspections to ensure your builder’s work exceeds Texas minimum standards before closing.
Do you offer specialty inspections?
Yes when appropriate, I offer additional services or coordinate them.
This can include sewer scope inspections, pool inspections, septic systems, and wood-destroying insect inspections. If a specialized evaluation is recommended, I can help coordinate with trusted local professionals.
How much does a home inspection cost?
Pricing depends on size, age, and scope of the home.
Most inspections start around $495, with adjustments for larger homes or additional services.
What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, and surrounding Central Texas areas. Call for more information about inspections far outside of these areas.
How do I book an inspection?
You can book online in minutes using our scheduling tool on the homepage — or contact us directly by phone or email for any questions before booking.
When will I receive my inspection report?
You’ll receive a digital inspection report within 24 hours of the inspection. It will include clear photos, notes, and recommendations for any needed repairs or follow-up evaluations.
